Istanbul, November 3, 2025 — In a significant display of diplomatic solidarity, Türkiye and Pakistan have vowed to enhance bilateral cooperation and jointly advocate for lasting peace in Gaza. The commitment came during a high-level meeting between Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, held on the sidelines of the Ministerial Meeting on Gaza in Istanbul.
Both ministers reaffirmed the deep-rooted bonds of friendship, trust, and brotherhood that have long defined Pakistan Türkiye relations. They expressed satisfaction with the positive trajectory of bilateral ties and agreed to further expand cooperation in the political, economic, defense, and cultural domains.
Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar highlighted Pakistan’s appreciation for Türkiye’s consistent support on issues of mutual concern, including Kashmir and Palestine, and underscored Islamabad’s commitment to standing alongside Ankara in advancing shared regional goals.
Hakan Fidan, on his part, praised Pakistan’s steadfast diplomatic engagement and reaffirmed Türkiye’s unwavering solidarity with the people of Gaza. He stressed the need for coordinated Muslim world action to ensure a lasting ceasefire, effective humanitarian relief, and a sustainable political solution based on the two state framework.
Both leaders emphasized that the continued suffering of Palestinians in Gaza demands an urgent and unified response from the international community. They agreed to maintain close coordination within multilateral platforms, including the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the United Nations, to press for accountability and sustained peace efforts.
The meeting also touched upon future collaboration under regional and global initiatives, including defense industry partnerships and enhanced trade connectivity.
This reaffirmation of strategic and humanitarian partnership underscores the shared vision of Türkiye and Pakistan two key Muslim-majority nations for peace, justice, and development across the Islamic world.
